Description
Handcrafted studio pottery luminary featuring a whimsical Southwestern desert scene with dimensional saguaro cacti, coyotes/wolves, a red lizard and pierced stars. Finished in a beautiful textured turquoise-blue glaze with earthy exposed-clay accents. Numerous cutouts allow candlelight to glow through the desert scene. Approximately 9 tall × 5 diameter. Artist signature/initials and what appears to be “98” impressed into the underside, possibly dating the piece to 1998. Maker has not been identified. A distinctive piece of Southwestern, Santa Fe, desert or rustic décor. Best used with an LED flameless candle. Pictured candle not included.
